ATTENTION ALL CENTRAL ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE (CEC) MEMBERS: THIS IS A PEAK ALERT ANNOUNCEMENT!
PLEASE CONSERVE POWER BY TURNING OFF ALL NON-ESSENTIAL ELECTRIC ITEMS ESPECIALLY LIGHTING, DEHUMIDIFIERS, AND POOL PUMPS; AND SET YOUR AIR CONDITIONER AT A MINIMUM OF 78 DEGREES.
CEC ANTICIPATES A DEMAND PEAK FROM 1 P.M.UNTIL 7 P.M.
CEC does everything it can to keep electricity affordable for members. If the co-op can reduce electricity purchased during high-demand periods, it helps keep energy costs stable for all members.
